How to Post a YouTube Video to Instagram
Instagram videos create two times more engagement on average than Instagram photos do.

We all know creating good videos catering to everyone is not an easy thing.
But sharing interesting videos is much easier to do.

You might have tried to share YouTube videos on Instagram directly, and you should have known there is no option for you to do this on YouTube.
Here I introduce the easiest way to post YouTube Videos to Instagram.
Basically, you can paste a YouTube Video URL in caption.
Viewers can copy the link in browser to watch the video, but they can’t tap on the link to go to YouTube directly.
So, I uploaded a screenshot of the video and added the video URL in caption. You can see what it shows on Instagram as follow:

Of course! Now follow my steps:
Step 1: Download YouTube Video to your phone or computer
We can use Free YouTube Downloader to download YouTube video for free.
It is an online downloader works perfectly on Android phone, iPhone and desktop.
First, paste a YouTube video URL in search bar and tap on the search
Second, Click “MP4” and the download will start automatically.
Mp4 is best format for uploading on Instagram so you don’t need to convert this video.
If you want to download lower quality video or video without audio, you can tap on “more” to choose the one meeting your requirement.
Finally, you’ve got the video in the gallery.

Step 2: Trim the video and upload on Instagram
The longest length of video we can upload on Instagram is 60 seconds. So we need to trim the video first to make the video shorter.
Fortunately, Instagram already provides “Trim” function.
Drag the start line and finishing line to trim the video clip.
Then tap on “Done” to confirm the video clip.
Continue to tap on “Next” and add caption, and the video will be shared on Instagram.
