Fergie songs

Fergie is the female vocalist for the hip pop group The Black Eyed Peas.

After that, she was determined to challenger herself.

In 2006, she released her first solo album The Dutchess.

She won many awards, such as 2 Grammy Award, 2 MTV Europe Music Awards and so on.

Over the course of a decade, Fergie has made many classic songs.

Today, I’m going to share Top10 list of Fergie songs on YouTube.

Now, let’s get started!

1. M.I.L.F.$

“You got that, you got that, you got that milk money
I got that, I got that, I got that MILF money
You got that, you got that, you got that milk money
I got that, I got that, I got that MILF money”

“M.I.L.F.$” is a song recorded by Fergie for her second studio album, Double Dutchess. It debuted at No.34 on the US Billboard Hot 100 with 65,000 sales in the first week.

Fergie was inspired to write the song after the birth of the son, Axl Jack. About its double meaning, she stated “changing the acronym is about to empowering women to do what they want. They have a career, a family, and but still find the time to take care of them.”

The rhythm of the song was so fast, so tight and so compact. The chorus is hard to forget and wants to hear over and over again.

2. Fergalicious

“So delicious it's hot hot,
So delicious I put them boys on rock rock
So delicious they wanna slice of what I got
Fergalicious hold hold hold hold up, check it out”

“Fergalicious” is a portmanteau of Fergie and delicious. It was written by Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas group mate will.i.am. It peaked at No.2 on the Billboard Hot100 and at No.1 on the Pop Songs chart.

The song is an electro and hip hop song with R&B characteristics. The lyrics are centered on the theme of self-pride. Fergie raps about how she bests all other women and that no other man is worthy enough to date her. Leah Greenblatt of Entertainment Weekly describes the song as a “self-love anthem”.

I’m impressed with the catchy chorus and cheesy lyrics. If you're curious, put on your headphones and listen to this song.

3. Big Girls Don’t Cry

“And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket
But I've got to get a move on with my life
It’s time to be a big girl now
And big girls don't cry”

“Big Girls Don’t Cry”was released as the fourth single from the album on May 22, 2007.It ranked No.1 on the Billboard Hot100 and No.1 on the Mainstream Top 40.

Unlike the hip hop and urban music of Fergie’s previous singles, the song choose a more simplistic pop and R&B sound that combined with acoustic and classical elements. In the aspects of lyrics, the song talks about moving on from the pain of divorce.

It’s like the word say, “Big girls don’t cry.” Faced with the shock of life, Fergie used songs to soothe the wounded heart. If you happen to have a problem like this, listen to this song.

4. Glamorous

“Living the life
In the fast lane
And I won’t change
For the glamorous oh the flossy flossy”

“Glamorous” is recorded by Fregie and features vocals from American rapper Ludacris. It peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The song is an airy Pop song that has a slower feel from the album’s previous hip hop and dance tinged singles. And it is talked about the protagonist has always insist on herself despite her success and fame.

When I listened to this song, I couldn't help shaking my body with the light rhythm. Let's hear this song. Let’s rock it!

5. L.A.LOVE (la la)

“Laid back, slow down
Better represent when we come to your town
So lay back, slow down
Whatchu represent when we come to your town, say”

“L.A.LOVE (la la)”is a song recorded by Fergie for her second studio album, Double Dutchess. The song debuted at No.27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No.5 on the US Hot Rap Songs (Billboard).

Unlike other albums, the sound of the song begins with a big clock knocking on my heart. Then, Fergie gradually sped up rap, with the sound of the block, and formed a perfect blend. Now, let’s enjoy the song.

6. Clumsy

“You got me trippin, stumbling, flippin, fumbling
Clumsy cuz I'm fallin in love
You got me slippin, tumbling, sinking, fumbling
Clumsy cuz I'm fallin in love”

"Clumsy" was released on September 25, 2007. It peaked at No.5 on the Billboard Hot100 and No.2 on the Mainstream Top 40 (Billboard).

The song is a pop, bubblegum pop and R&B song. Its beat taken from "The Bubble Bunch" by Jimmy Spicer, as well as a sample of "The Girl Can't Help It", originally performed by Little Richard.

Some people praised the goofy lyrics on feeling of love and some people have opposite view about it. If you’re a “clumsy” girl like that, this song might surprise you.

7. A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All we Got)

“All we got all we got all we got all we got
All we got all we got all we got all we
Come on all we got got got”

“A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All we Got)” is a 2013 song recorded by Fergie, Q-Tip and Goon Rock for the soundtrack to the 2013 film The Great Gastby. It reached at No.12 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs (Billboard).

The song is an electronic and hip hop song. Like the grandeur of The Great Gatsby, the video of the song is exquisitely decorated. But it also blends with modern electronic music which is very harmonious.

Maybe you weren't paying attention to the song while you were watching the movie, so now listen again.

8. Life Goes on

“Life goes on with or without you
It's up to you what you're gonna do
You could go or you could stay
Who cares anyway”

"Life Goes On" is a song recorded by Fergie for her second studio album, Double Dutchess. The song marks her final release for Interscope Records, after the singer left the label in May 2017 to the form record label Dutchess Music under BMG.

As the lyrics say, “life goes on with or without you. It's up to you what you're gonna do.” It seems cruel, but it means something. Whether it’s a surprise or a blow to our lives, we still have to live our own life.

If you’re confused right now, pick up your phones, and listen to what Fergie wants to say to you.

9. You already Know

“Life's a movie, let the camera roll
Fast life moving, ain't no going slow
That's right, baby, you already know
You already know, hope you're ready, ready, steady, steady, rocking”

"You Already Know" is a song recorded byFergie, featuring guest vocals from Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj. It was released on August 25, 2017.

Fergie said in an interview: “This is about us standing together as Girl bosses. We have both worked very hard for what we have, and still continue to do so.”

As far as I’m concerned, the combination of Fergie and Nicki Minaj is a strong union. If you like the two of them, download the video and listen to it.

10. London Bridge

“How come every time you come around
My London London Bridge wanna go down
Like London London London wanna go down
Like London London London be going down like”

"London Bridge" is the debut single by Fergie for her debut studio album, The Dutchess. It peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No.4 on the US Pop Songs.
